The Midwest Woodworkers Association has been built by hands and hearts — and guided by dedicated members who step up to lead. Now, it’s time to recruit our next Club President to help carry the tradition forward.
Serving as President is more than just a role — it’s a chance to join the proud ranks of past leaders whose passion and commitment have helped the club endure and thrive for decades, including our current president, John Loyd. Thanks to their leadership, we continue to enjoy a strong, welcoming community where woodworkers of all levels can connect, learn, and share our craft.
What does the President do?
The President leads club meetings, helps coordinate events and initiatives, supports our members, and represents the club to the broader community. You don’t need to be a master woodworker — just someone who enjoys bringing people together and wants to help the club grow.
Are you considering it? Or know someone who should?
Please reach out to John to discuss (jdloyd01@gmail.com). No pressure, no obligation. But definitely worth a discussion.
Let’s keep building on a strong foundation. Your leadership could shape the next chapter of Midwest Woodworkers.
